Strategy Stations Placement in Alberta Railway Passenger Project

 

The study provides the Demand & Market Potential, as well as  Operational Feasibility, Station Role & Access and Phasing.

 

A first Scope Pack for the corridor is presented, including:

 

1) a draft list of stations by phase and three service patterns (Express Limited-Stop and All-Stop) but on the basis of which it analysed,

 

2) 10, 20 and 30 minutes catchment and local context around each station

 

3) a demand score and tier system for ranking the stations,

 

4) a draft timetable for feasibility;

 

5) a typology and minimum standards for the stations

 

6) a high level Mobility Integration Map, positioning the corridor in the wider regional network
